ADMSC Referees
Learn about the steps needed to become a referee by visiting the Becoming a Ref page on the Iowa Soccer website.
The ADMSC employs area adults and youths that have completed their Grassroots Referees Certification for our home games. Our club will make every attempt to provide a certified referee crew for our home matches, and on occasion, in the event that we are unable to field a full crew of refs, we may request that a spectator or adult could assist as an assistant referee. If you are interested in become a certified official, please email the Director of Refs ([email protected]) for more information. Most games are played on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with exception of some makeup games - or those that are rescheduled due to the availability of the participants.
Our club encourages sportsmanship, which extends to our officials as well. Many of our youth referees are also still learning and growing in this capacity, much like the players and coaches. Our expectation is not that they always call an "errorless" match - but that they continue to grow and learn from their experiences and do their best to provide a safe, fair, and competitive environment for our young athletes.
